One of the special person that gaves joy to her parents, families and friends. She is much more than to me, a sister that always a shoulder to lean on, a kind of handkerchief to wipe tears, ears that always listens to all the dramas in life, and a helping hands when you are literally down. A loving daughter to her parents, and such a sweet grandchild to her grandparents. She is kind of person that is really down to earth. She’s a Morena girl and you should better keep her, my own version of her by a song Filipina Girl by James Reid. She’s tall, dark and beautiful in her own way.

I remembered when we first met at school, St. Paul School Barotac Nuevo. I saw her at St. Joseph classroom were are the Special Science Class belongs, while im walking in my own path towards to St. Michael’s room. In the second day in class, all the Grade 7 teachers told us to make a line for she will be told our section for the whole year. All the freshmen in the lobby were so loud and when the students or friends know that they are in one section, girls were hugging each other and happy and boys were bumping their fists as a sign of they know each other and greeting as well. Me, as a freshman and transferee, I saw Ysabelle at the back. Faces and names weren’t well-known. I smiled at her and she smiled me back. Every subjects that we’ve through, every students were participating in games and introduced their names. Until its her time, there, I know what was her name as beautiful as an angel. It was a quiet morning, we are having our first quiz in English in our first subject by Ms. Beleber, when she said that it should don’t have an erasures so I asked her is she has a correction tape or white out, “uhm, ysa may white out ka or correction tape?” I asked her shyly. “Ay oo may ara ako. Ari oh” she answered smiling to me. It’s kinda epic but our friendship started at correction tape, but because of that object, we built a relationship I know that will long last forever.

She is one and only child of her parents after months of being faithful waiting. She grew up God-fearing and close to God but she hadn’t dreamed of becoming a nun, she just wanted ro serve the church and God. As an one and only child of her parents, she received much love and attention from them, sometimes I’m wishing that we could be sisters in real life. She never had a feeling of rejection in life that’s why she always show her love to others especially to her parents and close friends.

I remembered way back in our 8th grade in highschool, I got jealous because there’s a guy claiming her as a best friend and I never talked to her for one day! When she knew I’ve got jealous, she told me that I’m the best to the bestest friend ever. Along in our group, Ysabelle, Alija, Irene, Aleah; Ysabelle is my closest and best friend though she has a best friend at their hometown. And as days and years passed by, graduation day was the day that we have ro separate ways in the next journey of our lives. By now, we are still the best of friends even though we are in different school. Communication and that person may not be always, but that friend of yours that you can really count it. That’s my best friend, Ysabelle Marie Janagap.
